Welcome to the Kiwanis Club of Bixby Knolls / North Long Beach! We’re a diverse and friendly group of individuals from all walks of life, united by our shared passion for making a positive difference in the lives of children. Our members come from various age groups, genders, occupations, and backgrounds, each bringing their unique perspectives and talents to the table.
Members gathered for a lively May meeting featuring guest introductions, birthday recognitions, scholarship updates, service project reports, and planning for upcoming events. Highlights included Roger Leue’s Distinguished Service Award recognition, an inspiring presentation from the EXP program, and continued commitment to serving students, families, and the wider community.
Sorting donations alongside Food Finders gave our club a closer look at how urgent food insecurity has become. Even with fewer items collected this year, the experience left a strong impression on us and sparked ideas for how we can contribute more directly, organize better, and make an even greater impact next year.
