Meet and Greet July 2024

An Evening of Fun, Facts, and Fellowship!

On July 30th, 2024, the Kiwanis of Bixby Knolls/North Long Beach hosted a delightful meet and greet event. Our gathering was filled with food, drinks, and fantastic company!

The highlight of the evening was our icebreaker game, where members shared interesting facts about themselves. We had to guess who had done each surprising thing! We discovered hidden talents and exciting stories:

• Did you know Roger is a proficient scat singer?
• We learned we have quite a few outdoor adventurers in our midst.
• And Myra… well, let’s just say she knows how to stand up for herself!

We also took time to reflect on why we joined Kiwanis. It was heartwarming to hear everyone’s motivations and reaffirm our shared mission to serve the community, especially children.

We were thrilled to make new connections, including welcoming Armando from Division 13 of the Kiwanis club.
