Monthly Roundup: April-May 2025

Spring has been bustling with activity for our Kiwanis Club! From fun meetings to meaningful community service and recognitions, we’ve had a productive and rewarding few weeks.

April Meeting Highlights

Our monthly gathering on April 15th brought a delightful surprise when our fellow member Alba treated us to an engaging trivia game. The friendly competition was made even sweeter with Easter candy rewards for winners and runners-up, adding a festive touch to our meeting.

Honoring Our Leadership

We’re proud to announce that our club president, Tony, received the prestigious Children’s Fund Distinguished Service Award on May 4th. This recognition celebrates Tony’s dedication to serving the children in our community and his outstanding leadership of our club.

Hosting the Division

On May 7th, our club had the honor of hosting the monthly Division Council Meeting (DCM) at our regular meeting location, Taboon Restaurant. It was wonderful to connect with fellow Kiwanians from across our division and share ideas.

Community Service in Action

Our commitment to fighting hunger continued on May 10th when members participated in the Food Finders National Stamp Out Hunger Drive. Club volunteers worked diligently to sort and pack donated food items that were then distributed to vendors serving those in need throughout our community.

Looking ahead, we remain committed to our mission of serving the children of the world and making a positive impact in our local community.

What activities do we have planned for June? Share your thoughts at our next meeting!
